STATE CENTER — The State Center Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident reported on Saturday night around the 400 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

According to Police Chief Jon Thomas, although shell casings were discovered upon the arrival of officers, none were found to have hit a house, and no damage has been reported at any properties in the area. In a post shared on Facebook, the SCPD asked residents of a neighborhood in the northeast corner of town to share security camera footage that could help identify which vehicles were on the road at that time.
