Temporary repairs to the finger joints have been completed as of Thursday morning, and the bridge is now open throughout the day.

Permanent repairs to the bridge including these joints are estimated to cost $3 million, and the city is in the process of applying for a $1.5 million grant to aid in these permanent repairs and improvements.

The temporary repairs are intended to improve the ride over these joints until the more comprehensive construction project is completed, which is currently estimated to be in late 2025 or 2026.
