Kasmino Moses, 27, of Marshalltown, was arrested Monday morning after allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old woman.

The Marshalltown Police Department responded to the 400 block of North First Street after receiving reports about a man attempting to enter private residences in the neighborhood. Officers learned the man entered a residence in the 100 block of West Lincoln Street and assaulted the woman by forcibly trying to remove her clothing as she was asleep on her couch. Moses has been booked into the Marshall County Jail. The charges are only accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
