The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Women in Business Luncheon at Dejardin Hall on the MCC campus Wednesday afternoon, and MARSHALLTOWN Company President/CEO Joe Carter had the honor of presenting the 2024 Woman in Business Award to his wife Janelle Carter, who he repeatedly described as “exceptional” in noting her accomplishments in business working for MARSHALLTOWN earlier in her career to giving back to the community as a school board member and now leading the charge on the Crosby Park housing project and the Willard-Hopkins development.
