Ibarra-Lemus

On Thursday, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested Miguel Angel Ibarra-Lemus, age 25, of Marshalltown, and charged him with third degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.

According to a press release, the arrest was made in connection with an alleged sexual abuse crime that was reported to law enforcement on Nov. 29, 2023, involving an adult victim — according to a police report, he allegedly performed a sex act without the victim’s consent and was observed by a witness leaving the victim’s room shortly after the act was completed. Following his arrest, Ibarra-Lemus was taken to the Marshall County Jail and has since been bonded out.
