A former Marshalltown High School substitute teacher and club administrator who previously served as the dean of students before retiring from that role in 2023 has turned himself in on charges that he had inappropriate contact with a student, according to a press release issued by the Marshalltown Police Department on Thursday afternoon.
On April 16, the MPD initiated an investigation into the complaint of a teacher possibly having inappropriate contact with a student.
