Marshalltown High School announces 2025 Homecoming court

With Homecoming week here, Marshalltown High School is proud to introduce the members of the 2025 Homecoming Court.

“We are incredibly proud of this year’s Homecoming Court and all they represent,” said MHS Principal Justin Boliver. “These students exemplify leadership, school spirit, and a commitment to making Marshalltown High School a great place. We look forward to celebrating their achievements and uniting as a community for a week of exciting festivities.”

2025 King Candidates are Angel Chavez Ordaz, Ruben Fuentes, Nick Wise, Erick Martinez, Myles Goldman, Anthony Chavez Ordaz, Jacob Hayes and Kyle Smith. 2025 Queen Candidates are Jorja Janssen, Mylie Dougall, Elyza Ceren, Ellie Downs, Zahira Zavala Contreras, Anessa Morrison, Sajko Matthew and Emerson Eastman.

Homecoming events kick off with the parade on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. The parade will proceed down W. Main Street and continue along Center Street. Following the parade, the Homecoming Coronation will take place at Leonard Cole Field at 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, coronation will be moved indoors to the Roundhouse.

The week’s celebrations continue on Friday, Sept. 12, when the Bobcats take on Mason City in the Homecoming football game at Leonard Cole Field. Varsity kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Festivities will conclude with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the MHS Auxiliary Gym.
