The Marshalltown Taco John’s located at 907 S. Center St. celebrated its grand reopening in style on Monday afternoon with a special performance from the MHS Bobcat marching band and cheerleaders and a ribbon cutting with the Chamber Ambassadors. The restaurant temporarily closed for a full rebuild back in August and, after the drive thru reopened on Oct. 15, the full indoor dining area reopened Monday. After the ribbon cutting, the band and cheerleaders stepped inside to enjoy a West Mex meal. Complimentary churros were also served. Taco John’s will now be open seven days a week — Sunday through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
