Rocking the Ranch continues fall concert tradition at Wolfe

Planning has been underway for several months, and the efforts will come to fruition with Rocking the Ranch at Wolfe Ranch.
Executive Director Beth Andrew said it will be a continuation of last year’s Harmony on the Hooves event, which was the first for the annual event.
“This year, we’re calling it Rocking the Ranch,” she said. “Each year may take on a different name or theme, but it will always be a fall tradition at Wolfe Ranch – a time for families and friends to come together, enjoy the music, food and the beauty of the ranch.”
Andrew said even if the name of the event changes every year, it will always be designed to bring the community together and support the ranch’s mission.
The event will feature a concert by The Juan & Only and attendees will be able to top that off with some culinary fare from food trucks. Andrew said the trucks are being finalized.
“Our goal is to have a good variety so that families can enjoy different options throughout the day,” she said.
The Juan & Only is a band from Waukee which plays music from a variety of genres and decades.
“Guests can expect a fun, relaxed atmosphere with activities for all ages,” Andrew said. “Along with live music and food, attendees can meet the horses, enjoy the ranch grounds and spend time with others in the community.”
Proceeds raised from Rocking the Ranch will be used to support Wolfe.
“Funds raised will help care for the horses, maintain the ranch facilities and support therapeutic programs that help children, families and individuals heal and grow,” she said.
Andrew said the excitement of building the fall tradition is high at Wolfe Ranch.
“It’s more than just music and food,” she said. “It’s about celebrating connection, supporting a great cause and giving the community a chance to experience the healing mission of the ranch.”
