The Marshalltown High School eSports program continues to grow and thrive, and this year’s Rainbow Six Siege team is heading into the state playoffs undefeated with the number one seed.

Three members of the team — Trey Miller, Connor Ramirez and Peyton Stanton — said the team has mastered the art of communication, and their coach, Sebastian Ramirez quickly saw their potential.

“Being the top in the state isn’t just luck. I feel like it came from discipline and trust, and these guys have put in the work,” Ramirez said.

He’s also encouraged that the players have built friendships outside of the arena and seem to enjoy each other’s company while building their leadership skills. The Bobcats begin state competition in Marshalltown on Nov. 20.

If they win it all, their coaches have committed to dying their hair.

Starting at $4.38/week.
