Virginia R. Orman, 95
Virginia R. Orman, 95, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was born Friday, November 3, 1922, in Hedrick, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse James Ries and Alta Utterback Ries. Virginia proudly served in the W.A.C.’s in World War II.
She is survived by her son Christian Orman and his wife Kolette from Spokane, Washington.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde Earl Orman and two sons Lee and Larry Orman.
We would like to thank all the staff at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown for the exceptional care you have provided. Virginia loved living there and she loved you. Thank you again and again for loving her back. May God richly bless each one of you in everything you do.
Virginia has been buried at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa and no services are planned at this time. Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
