Christine Dianne Erwin was born on October 31, 1968, to parents Charles and Joan (Mathis) Erwin in Marshalltown, Iowa. She grew up in Laurel and attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District graduating in the class of 1985. In her free-time she loved to dance and loved the holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. She loved to decorate around her house for these holidays. She would often listen to music; it didn’t matter the genre but she loved to listen.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Mitchell (Melissa) Lutes and Tristan Erwin; grandchildren: Liam Lutes and Ayla Erwin; siblings Debra (Dale) Shepard and Ann (Jerry) Johnson and her father Charles Erwin.

In death, Christine rejoins her mother Joan and her grandparents.
