Earl Bachel, 90
A Funeral service for Earl George Bachel, 90, of Marshalltown, was held on September 20, 2019, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Harlan Nuss officiated the service. Special music was played by Colette Benge.
Pallbearers were Mike Jensen, Don Benbow, Jack Harkness, Dave Hemminger, Dave Samuels and Larry Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers were Richard Loney and Bob Day. He was laid to rest in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Groups in attendance included Chicago & Northwestern – Union Pacific Railroad diesel shop and retires, Village Co-op and Iowa River Hospice, among others.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Earl and his friends and family.
