Jacqueline, better known as “Jackie” was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on February 12, 1964 to Harold and Geraldine Barnard. Jackie was the oldest of three children and an Ames High School graduate in the class of 1982. Jackie spent most of her adult life in the food service industry in the central Iowa area. Jaqueline moved down to Bethany, Oklahoma with her brother Charles in 2018.

Jackie spent her free time crocheting, knitting, and drawing free hand. Jackie was a bookworm who also enjoyed the outdoors, babies, and animals. She was a big history buff, especially when it came to Canadian family history. Jackie loved Star Trek and wrestling. Jackie always talked about having a family, but decided her nieces and nephews were enough.

Jacqueline was reunited with her father Harold, who passed in July 2019. Survivors include her mother Geraldine of Marshalltown; her brother, Charles of Bethany, OK; her sister, Diana of Marshalltown; her two nieces, a nephew; and four great nieces and nephews.

Services for Jackie will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Reverend Alex Post officiating.
