Pamela Sue Vry was born April 10, 1946, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Herman and June (Fuller) Vry. She attended Green Mountain School and graduated in 1964. Pam then pursued a cosmetology career like her mother did, where she graduated from Pitzi’s Beauty School the following year.

Pam was united in marriage to Edgar Zugg in 1968. As a result of this union two children Paige and Tonette “Toni” were born. She was the owner of The Clinic Beauty Salon for many years before continuing her work as a hairdresser at Classi Rags Salon in Marshalltown. She had a great passion; clearly seen by the love her clientele had for her over the past 55 years. She was loved by so many of her friends and family and will be missed tremendously.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time shopping, which is why she was so sharply dressed at all times. Pam also enjoyed pulling the slot machines at local casinos, in addition to an occasional weekend get-away to Las Vegas. She also had a keen eye for putting gorgeous flower arrangements together and could be seen on display at Classi Rags Salon. She loved to collect porcelain dolls, music boxes, and other oriental knick-knacks.

Left to remember and cherish her memory are her children: Paige Lynne Zugg and Tonette “Toni” Marie Zugg; her grandchildren: Keely Lynae Stagner, Alayshia Evelyn Zugg and Jeyvon Demir Green; her great grandson Josiah Alexander Zugg; nieces and nephews and her very special friends Phyllis Fistler and Judy Vry.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Eveyln Vry; her brothers Larry, Gary and Noel Vry; and her niece Tami Winter.

Starting at $4.38/week.
