A funeral service for Robert Vasey, 84, of rural Eldora and Union were held on February 20, 2021 at Union Community Church with Pastor John Richter officiating. He was laid to rest in Sheppard Cemetery in Union, IA. Pallbearers were Mark Eilders, Allen Mabe, Tessa Cunningham, Darcie Platt, Alycia Susag, Emily Lyons, Austin James Lyons and Morrison Faupel. Honorary pallbearers were Lyndon Wolken, Lamont Wolken, Christopher Mooney, Jim Teske, Carl Teske and Robert Vinton. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Robert and his family.
