Per Gail and his family’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A funeral service has been scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025 starting at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Chad Cook will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation one-hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Susan, his children: Brian (Shannon) Reese, of Nevada, Krystal Reese, of Gladbrook, Amy (Linus) Reimer, of Germany, and Lisa Cox, of Marshalltown; his 10 grandchildren; his 12 great grandchildren; his siblings: Edward Reese, of Lamoille, IA, Jeff (Sherry) Reese, of Marshalltown, and Jane (Charles) Burgstahler, of Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
