Surviving Ed are his wife Char, of 64 years, children: Timothy Polzin (Dorothy), of Marshalltown, Iowa, Penny Polzin Schmidt (Brian), of Clive, Iowa; five grandchildren and son Jason J Polzin, of Bloomfield, Colorado. Ed also leaves behind sister Mick Kramer, of Steamboat Rock, Iowa, brother Rich Polzin, of Des Moines, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
