Left to cherish his memory are his son, Travis (Rykki) Peterson, of Gladbrook; his daughters, Traci Roche, of Marshalltown, and Tiffinee Stone, of Sioux City; and five grandchildren.

Per Duane and his family’s wishes, cremation rites have taken place. A celebration of Duane’s life will be held at later date, tentatively in the spring of 2026. Memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation.
