Ronald Fisher
Ron Fisher passed away on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026.
He is survived by two daughters, Holly Fisher, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Ronna Fisher, of Des Moines, Iowa, both successful, intelligent, creative and heart-forward women who have thrived despite the constant emotional and physical abuse he inflicted throughout their lives.
Ron was a “my way or the highway” man who took satisfaction in belittling others. His cutting remarks and need for control were exercised freely and with malice. Even after disowning his daughters, he found ways to remind them how little they mattered.
Ron struggled with mental illness, which worsened later in life and led him to push others away. It is hoped that in death he has found the clarity that eluded him in life and he understands the harm he caused.
Though it is too late for apologies or accountability, those who endured his treatment are relieved he can no longer torment them. His daughters move forward defined not by his narcissism and cruelty, but by their resilience, strength, and capacity for love.
