Darwin D. Funke, 89, lifelong State Center resident, passed away on the morning of Thursday, June 19th, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Cheryl Lee (Warner) Parker, of Melbourne, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her home after a courageous 17-month battle with glioblastoma. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Skip; her son, Justin Parker, of Waukee, IA; her daughter, Kaytlin Parker, of Melbourne, IA; and her future son-in-law. Donn Anderson, 78, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown. Memorial services celebrating Donn's life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025, at First Congregational Church in Marshalltown.
