Jean Hinegardner

Jean M. Hinegardner, 101, of Montour, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at her home under the loving care of Iowa River Hospice following a brief illness. It was Jean’s wish to make an anatomical gift to the University of Iowa Hospital through their deeded body program. A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1-3 PM at the Montour Community Building. Survivors include her son, David (Julie) Hinegardner; daughter, Betty Santema; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. JoAnn M. Wrage, 92, of Gladbrook, formerly of Grundy Center, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service 11:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Grundy Center. Burial will follow at the Lincoln Township Cemetery in rural Grundy Center. She is survived by her sons Nathan (Jennifer) and Randy (Amy), four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
