Beautiful, crisp falls days are some of my favorite things about Iowa! I hope that you’re able to enjoy this wonderful October weather.

The remainder of the summer and the beginning of the fall has continued to be very busy. I’ve been taking advantage of educational opportunities and meeting with constituents so that I can hit the ground running when session resumes in January.

I’ve continued to dig into health care policy and recently completed the Medicaid Leaders Development Program so that we can ensure our program in Iowa remains robust for those most in need. I also just returned from the Health Care Costs and Prescription Drug Summit so that we can continue our work to expand access, improve quality and lower the cost of health care in our state.
