An enormous thank you
A big thank you to the 40+ volunteers and four employees of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department who participated in the clean-up of the Iowa River Trail corridor The event, organized by Charlie Smith, was a great success. The enormity of the volume of debris that was removed can be seen on the Iowa Valley Bicycle Club Facebook page. It is yet another example of how, by working together, private citizens and city officials and employees can and will make Marshalltown an even better community.
