All of the staff, crew and Board of Trustees at Riverside Cemetery would like to say a big thank you to the community for the wonderful turnout at the recent Annual Family Fishing Derby. This is a favorite event of the cemetery every year, and judging by the attendance, it’s loved by families in the area as well.

We would especially like to thank the Izaak Walton League, who co-sponsors and leads the derby as a way to promote the sport of fishing and the love of outdoors among children and families. Also deserving of thanks are Boy Scouts for assisting Izaak Walton League members and Theisen’s, Dairy Queen, Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Firehouse Bait & Tackle and Bob’s Bait & Tackle for donations of prizes, beverages and bait supplies. Finally, thanks to Matt Kuhlers for his master hot dog chef skills and the use of his grill.
