Have you seen ‘Ravaged?’
I want to compliment the people responsible for the book “Ravaged.” It was beautifully done and I have already given a few as gifts — some to friends who grew up here, but no longer live in Marshalltown.
When one looks at the pictures it’s hard to believe no one was killed — no pets — or anyone seriously injured.
When the sirens were going off and for such a long time and then we heard the reporters say the tornado was headed right into our downtown area many people were praying, as was I. I know some people think we were just lucky. I believe our heavenly father sent his angels to protect us.
May we never forget that day and the power of prayer.
