Marshalltown Lioness fundraiser a success

The Marshalltown Lioness would like to thank all area merchants who donated prizes for our annual fundraiser card party event on April 12, as well as all the people who attended.

The Lioness Club is a nonprofit organization that not only works with the Lion’s Club in providing sight and hearing projects, but also helps our community with their projects. We have helped the Leader Dog/Puppy Program, Iowa Lions Hearing Aid Bank, Camp Hertko Hollow (for kids with diabetes), Camp Courageous, Child Abuse Prevention Services, Iowa Lion’s Eye Bank, Iowa Lion’s Kidsight, deliver Meals on Wheels, CIRSI, Special Olympics and other community projects.

A special thank-you to all the members of the Lioness Club who donated raffle items, food and their time to put on this event. Thank-you to all who helped in any way.
