Pocket Park visit is well worth your time
I have enjoyed reading the articles about Marshalltown’s recovery from the tornado. After reading the article about the various additions of art to the community my friend and I took a walk to the Veterans Pocket Park on the East side of the Coliseum. We were expecting grass but we were so pleasantly surprised to find cement with poems inscribed into the cement. These are poems of inspiration and memories. It is well worth your time and effort to visit this park and appreciate another addition to our wonderful community.
