PGA Champions Tour professional Jerry Smith will be the celebrity pro for this year’s 30th annual Lennox/

Quakerdale Invitational ProAm Golf Tournament.

Smith is a Council Bluffs native who graduated from Baylor University before embarking on his professional golf career in 1987. His PGA accomplishments include a win at the 1991 Waterloo Open, an Asian Tour win at the 1998 Guam Open, and a Champions Tour win at the 2015 Encompass Championship in Chicago.

Smith earned exemption for his third year on the Champions tour by finishing third at qualifying school, and he will be inducted into the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame on June 13. The Lennox/Quakerdale ProAm will be June 14-15 at Elmwood Country Club.
