GLADBROOK — The Gladbrook-Reinbeck football team coasted into the playoffs as the 8-Man District 5 champion by clobbering Colo-NESCO 56-14 in Friday’s regular-season finale.

East Marshall (0-9, 0-5) scored first by capping the game’s opening possession with a 17-yard touchdown run for Kam Hoskins. Caden Stewart’s extra-point kick provided the difference as the Mustangs maintained a 7-6 lead at the half and through three quarters, but the Mustangs couldn’t hold on.
