ISU pins Mountaineers; UNI handles Air Force
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The No. 16 Iowa State wrestling team posted a dominant triumph over West Virginia on Sunday, pounding the Mountaineers 36-3 in a Big 12 Conference dual.
The Cyclones (6-1, 3-0) won nine of 10 bouts, getting four bonus-point victories over the Mountaineers (2-11, 2-4). Willie Miklus (197 pounds) and Marcus Coleman (174) got pins for ISU, Sam Colbray (184) scored a technical fall and Chase Straw (157) won by major decision.
Iowa State is back at home Friday, hosting Oklahoma at 7 p.m. inside Hilton Coliseum.

CEDAR FALLS — The UNI wrestling team stayed perfect in the Big 12 with a 29-9 win over Air Force.
The Panthers (3-4, 3-0) got bonus points from Jay Schwarm (125), Max Thomsen (149), Bryce Steiert (165), Taylor Lujan (174) and Drew Foster (184).
UNI hosts Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. Friday and Oklahoma at 2 p.m. Sunday.
