WEST DES MOINES — Marshalltown’s bowling team stayed undefeated with a pair of close wins against Valley on Monday at Val Lanes.

The Bobcat boys won the 2,810-2,780. Lucas Kramer led the team with a 438 series, which was followed by Xander Pickett who rolled a 405. Dylan Cooper posted a 368 and Demitri Ferneau finished with a 367. Rounding out the team was Logan Proffitt, who had a 329, and Hunter Dannen, who bowled a 327.

The Bobcat girls defeated Valley 2,501-2,383. Kylee Witt led the team with a 426 series. Ashly Wiegand followed with a 341 while Sydney Dannen posted a 315. Hannah Slifer rolled a 312, Emily Diggins bowled 297 and Jordan May rounded out the team with a 288.

Marshalltown will host Mason City at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday at Wayward Social.
