MHS bowlers split with rival Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — The Marshalltown boys’ bowling team stayed undefeated after defeating Fort Dodge 3,189-2,921 at Ridgewood Lanes on Thursday.

The Bobcat boys (7-0, 3-0) were led by Lucas Kramer who finished with games of 246-264 — a 510 series. Logan Proffitt and Hunter Dannen totaled 426 and 415 pins, respectively. Dylan Cooper rolled a 393 while Demitri Ferneau finished with 391. Rounding out the team was Xander Pickett who finished with 374.

The Bobcat girls, however, lost their first meet of the season to Fort Dodge 2,685-2,446.

Leading Marshalltown (6-1, 2-1) was Kylee Witt who totaled 402.

Madison Pickett rolled 334 while Ashly Wiegand posted 314. Emily Diggins finished with 313 and Hannah Slifer rolled a 305. Rounding out the team was Jordan May who finished with a 287.

Marshalltown will host Waukee on Jan. 16 at 3:45 p.m.
