IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference announced its 2019-20 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. In total, 71 Iowa State freshmen earned a spot on the list, including BCLUW High School graduate Jack Garber.
Garber, a member of the Cyclone men’s track and field team, competed in seven indoor meets for Iowa State in the fall season. He posted season-best times of 8.55 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 24.04 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the Texas Tech Invitational, and he finished 15th in the 60-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships.
