JEWELL — West Marshall girls’ golf finished middle of the pack in South Hamilton’s six-team invitational held Thursday at Jewell Country Club.

The Trojans shot a 410 as a team, coming in third and finishing 66 points behind runaway winner Gilbert (344). West Marshall had one player crack 100 in Ella Meyer’s score of 99, which helped her to a ninth-place finish in the individual standings.

Lauren Solberg followed with a 103, while 104s from Kalyn Polley and Madeline Karsjen rounded out the counting scores for the Trojans. Emma Stanley and Allie Pfantz shot 109s.

The Trojans play sectionals today at River Bend Golf Course in Story City.
