COUNCIL BLUFFS — Sixth-ranked Iowa Western walloped the Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team in Saturday’s ICCAC clash, topping the Tigers 76-35.

The Reivers (14-7, 11-3) turned 17 MCC turnovers into 25 points, and they produced 24 points from 28 offensive rebounds.

Ndidiamaka Ndukwe led Iowa Western with 16 points, Courtney Fields finished with 14 points and Hannah Burg added 10 points off the bench.

The Reivers outrebounded MCC 53-22.

The Tigers (6-18, 3-11) were led by Ianara Morbidoni with 12 points. Keelie Eitel made three 3-pointers for nine points, and Carla Dorta chipped in five points and three steals.

MCC’s three-game week starts with Tuesday’s home contest against NIACC.
