CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa women’s basketball team has accepted an invitation to the 2024 Women’s National Invitation Tournament.

The Panthers are one of four Missouri Valley Conference teams competing in the WNIT. UNI received a bye in the first round and will face the winner of a round-one matchup featuring Saint Louis and Central Arkansas. That first-round game will take place Thursday in Conway, Ark.

Round two times, dates, and locations are yet to be determined.
