It was in the 90s that I walked through the Holocaust Museum in D.C. and witnessed the horrors that Jews experienced. I swore to myself in their memory that I would take on fascism wherever it reared its ugly head.

Fascism is not new to America! One of the earliest explorers of the western hemisphere Christopher Columbus was a fascist in his treatment of the indigenous peoples. Fascism was employed in dealing with the Indian question and the American Slavocracy was a fascist enterprise.

So in the interest of bravery in dealing with the issue of whether Trump or any future president is above the law I must say and I quote “To even contemplate the question is wallowing in fascism!”

It would seem utterly incomprehensible to even consider the question of who is above the law. To me that is a mute question unless you favor fascism over democracy. Autocracy is a temptress when perceived out of control chaos or lawlessness erupts. But autocrats believe they are flawless and care little for the rule of law, especially the messy affair of human rights. Under autocratic law there is no compassion, there is only brutality, the law of the jungle, the law of barbarism.

Listening and watching the three liberals on the U.S. Supreme Court express their outrage at such an utterly stupid contemplation was a breath of fresh air. However, to listen to those so-called Conservatives was like watching them slipping and sliding on a freshly waxed floor spouting and using misdirection and proclaiming what Ifs and what about that questions. It was a shameful example of softening the viewers mind to accepting the possibility that someone can be above the law, especially Trump. Yep, their words were as slippery as greased pigs.

Watching Trump thumb his nose at the law and watching his defenders is like watching a chained dog being abused in order for the dog to become more agitated and aggressive. I do not know for sure who is the most contemptible Trump or those politicians, religious leaders and news anchors who egg him on.

I believe Trump is a fascist! Why? When he said immigrants are poisoning our blood that settled it for me.
