Sixteen Ave Maria Study Club members and one guest held the final meeting for 2025-26 with a 11:30 a.m. luncheon at Legends. Co-president Sandy Good welcomed members, guest and four husbands who were also guests and had supported the group all year. Rose Ann Jero offered a prayer of thanksgiving for a successful year. Deacon Roger Polt offered the before meal grace.

Good held a short business meeting. She thanked all of the women who attended the 4:30 p.m. Mass on June 5. Jero thanked Lois Polt for sending Mother’s Day cards to Jean Miller who’s son is Rev. Dennis Miller and Nancy Boone who’s son is Rev. Scott Boone. Good presented the following slate of officers for 2026-27 Co-presidents Lois Polt and Jero, secretary Kathy Slater, and treasurer Marj Higgins. There were no additional nominations. The slate of officers was unanimously approved.

The next meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 11 in the Madonna Room at the St. Henry Campus, Faith Formation Center. The meeting will start with a salad luncheon hosted by the officers. Members are asked to bring a salad or covered dish.

The meeting ended by praying the “Prayer for Priests” and “Journey in Faith Prayer.”
