Arts + Culture Alliance is always looking to connect with local artists who are interested in creating public art throughout Marshall County.
Whether the artist is an experienced muralist, have assisted on mural projects before, or are eager to paint that very first mural, Arts + Culture Alliance wants to hear from you.
As mural opportunities continue to grow across the community, Arts + Culture Alliance is building an updated directory of local artists who are interested in mural work. This directory helps connect artists with businesses, organizations and community projects looking for local creative talent.
This call is for Marshall County artists who:
• Have experience painting murals.
• Would like to assist on future mural projects.
• Are interested in learning more about mural creation.
• Want to be considered for future mural opportunities.
No matter where they are in the creative journey, submit your information.
To be included, the artist will need to:
• Live in Marshall County.
• Submit samples of artwork or creative portfolio.
• Complete the online interest form.
Even if they've worked with the Arts + Culture Alliance before, submit the new form so the most up-to-date contact information and artwork is on file.
"Marshall County is full of talented artists, and not every muralist starts with a mural," said Kelbryn VanGundy, marketing & program coordinator for the Arts + Culture Alliance. "Whether you've painted murals for years or you're looking for your first opportunity to assist and learn, we want to know who you are. Building this directory helps us connect local artists with future projects while continuing to grow public art throughout our community."
