DES MOINES — Join the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation for the 2026 Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and Fair Food Grazing Party on July 11. Hosted in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds, this year’s “American Classic” theme will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States.

As the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, the Corndog Kickoff will feature a wide variety of irresistible Iowa State Fair foods, thrilling auction packages, Sky Glider rides and a fireworks show. Highlights from this year’s auction include:

• An Amalfi Coast Getaway – Experience the trip of a lifetime with a 6-day/5-night luxury villa stay on Italy’s Amalfi Coast for up to eight guests, featuring breathtaking sea views, a private chef, exclusive culinary experiences, a sunset boat tour, concierge service and premium amenities for an unforgettable getaway. Donated by the Blue Ribbon Foundation

• A Garden Party – Enjoy a one-of-a-kind outdoor café experience in the Iowa State Fair’s Discovery Garden, featuring a private matcha bar for 10-15 guests with handcrafted drinks, a guided garden tour, customizable details and two hours of hosted service. Donated by Green Finds Cafe and the Discovery Garden

• Somewhere Over Laredo – Enjoy an unforgettable night with Lainey Wilson and special guest Tigirlily Gold from the Iowa State Fair Spectator Suite, featuring 12 concert and gate admission tickets, premium stage-side viewing, comfortable air-conditioned space and complimentary snacks and water. Donated by the Blue Ribbon Foundation

Those unable to join in-person, can still join in on the fun by bidding on silent auction items online at www.BlueRibbonFoundation.org. The silent auction will open for bidding at 10 a.m. on July 10. Bidding will close at 8:30 p.m. on July 11.
