In conjunction with the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, the Marshalltown Public Library will be hosting an Historic Textile Fair from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on July 18.

Local fiber artists will display quilts and demonstrate spinning, weaving, tatting and quilt block cutting and piecing. Bring a friend, stop by and learn something new. This program is the second in a three-part summer series celebrating heritage arts and crafts.
