Library to host interactive family film Sunday

Bring the family for a fun, interactive viewing of a popular animated family filmat 1:30 p.m. on July 19. The library movie license forbids the use of film titles in publicity; therefore, the staff invites readers to play the movie guessing game.

A koala impresario stages a gala singing competition in order to save his theater, and the contest attracts the attention of such musically inclined animals as a harried pig mom, a teenage gorilla, a shy elephant and a punk porcupine. Registration is required for this event; each participating child ages 3 and older will receive a small bag of items to “join in” with different parts of the movie.

Children 8 years and older may register to attend without a caregiver. For registration with younger kids (and/or older kids attending with their family), have the adult or teen caregiver register, and list the names and ages of the children in the notes field. People can also call the library at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 and get registered or visit the library’s website at www.marshalltownlibrary.org.

Starting at $4.75/week.
