In June of 2026, Mr. Mike Culp, a resident at the Iowa Veterans Home, was recognized by the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Council for his many years of membership and service to the V.F.W. Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Harry C. Harter Post 839 Marshalltown, Iowa, where Mike served, presented him with his Certificate of Appreciation.
