The Marshall County Republican Pachyderm Forum will meet at noon on Aug. 14 at Legends American Cafe. The speakers will be Marshall County Auditor/Recorder and Commissioner of Elections Nan Benson and Assistant Deputy Auditor/Recorder Jessie Chizek.
They will present information on the upcoming elections, including the special West Marshall Community School District PPEL election on Sept. 8 and the Nov. 3 general election. Topics will include polling locations, hours, voting options and related voter requirements. Updates on any new information from the Secretary of State’s Office as well as local and state sources of election information will be reviewed.
The forums are open to all persons and voters, Registered or No Party, who would like to learn more about participating in these elections. Audience participation in a question and answer format is encouraged. Persons may arrive after 11 a.m. for informal discussion and lunch if they wish.
