Guiding Star Marshalltown will offer Introduction to Breastfeeding from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 at 2501 S. Center St. - Suite M.
This program is presented by Lactation Counselor, Rebecca Driscoll PA-C, CLC, who will cover helpful and practical tips and tricks for the soon to be or current breastfeeding mom and will include what to expect from a breastfed newborn in the first days and beyond. Also, included will be ideas for useful products and information for introducing bottles and pacifiers. Rebecca is currently a breastfeeding and working Mom. Register the Friday before the event (at noon) so the staff can prepare and plan.
Participants are asked to register online by Aug. 21 by going to guidingstarmarshalltown.org, click on 'Events,' then scroll to Intro to Breastfeeding, click on 'register' and add to calendar or register by calling Guiding Star Marshalltown during regular business hours, 10 a.m to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday at 641-351-4041.
