OnTheGoMedia is continuing its strategic expansion in the Marshalltown market following its agreement to manage KDAO-FM (FCC license, Eldora) in May. The local media company headquartered in Hampton has officially flipped the station’s format to a 90s pop-rock base, rebranding last month as “Rewind 93,” and has initiated major studio equipment upgrades alongside significant personnel changes to lead the station’s next phase of growth.
As part of the structural evolution, longtime morning host and high school sports play-by-play announcer Andy Jennings has been promoted to Operations Manager in the Marshalltown office. Jennings will oversee station operations, programming strategy and direct the station’s local sports broadcasting.
Additionally, OnTheGoMedia has announced that former cross-town afternoon drive personality Jonathan Knight will join the team as the new morning host on Rewind 93. Knight is set to make his official morning debut on Aug. 10.
