As part of the upcoming annual Iowa River Hospice fundraiser golf tournament at Oakwood in Conrad on Sept. 11, a zero-turn mower donated in memory of the late Dr. James Heddens through Central Iowa Farm Store will be raffled off.
“(It’s) a generous donation by both the Heddens family and Central Iowa Farm Store to make this happen, so we just want to shout both of them out,” IRH Executive Director Shauna Callaway said. “People are stopping in here just to buy tickets too, so we’re really blasting it out there.”
The revenue from the sale of raffle tickets will support the Days of Care program for patients at IRH.
