Marshalltown seeking applicants for the Investment Advisory Committee

The City of Marshalltown is seeking volunteer applicants for two openings on the Investment Advisory Committee. The City of Marshalltown Investment Policy creates an Investment Committee to review the City’s investments and compliance with the Investment Policy. This Committee consists of three members possessing financial and investment backgrounds. Here is a link to the investment policy: www.marshalltown-ia.gov/DocumentCenter/View/6957/Investment-Policy. This committee typically meets quarterly at 4 p.m.

Appointees will be required to attend a 2-hour virtual training on Iowa Code Chapter 21 Open Meetings and Chapter 22 Open Records. The training must be completed within 90 days of appointment.
