"Welcome to Medicare" is a seminar offered by UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Hospital and SHIIP counselors from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 22. The seminar will be held at UnityPoint Health- Marshalltown Hospital, 55 UnityPoint Way, Conference Rooms 2&3. Enter on the Clinic Entrance on the NW end of the hospital. "We're excited to offer this free seminar to the community," said Kassidy Tessendorf, volunteer coordinator for UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown. "Medicare is such an important program and understanding what it offers helps assure that anyone eligible gets the health benefits they deserve."
"Welcome to Medicare" will cover Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare supplement insurance. For more information or questions call 641-754-5399.
